As CEO of P3 Cost Analysts, Mark Cottle brings more than two decades of experience helping businesses improve financial performance and drive sustainable growth. Throughout his career, he has led full P&L operations across fintech, SaaS, and supply chain organizations, scaling revenue, strengthening margins, expanding partner ecosystems, and delivering EBITDA growth.

Earlier in his career, Mark built financial benchmarking tools for franchise systems, helping operators translate their P&Ls into actionable insights that improved performance across their businesses. More recently, he spent nearly a decade in the lending and financial services space, helping companies leverage cash flow to fuel growth and operate more efficiently.

Mark lives near Salt Lake City with his wife, and their four children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, including horseback riding, snowmobiling, and exploring the mountains.

Q&A with Mark

For nearly a decade, I’ve worked in the lending and financial services space, helping businesses leverage cash flow to drive growth and improve financial performance. P3 extends that same mission by auditing expenses and uncovering savings while companies stay focused on running their business.

My favorite areas are the ones where cost reduction comes from clarity and data, not just cutting spend. Telecommunications, payments, and technology services are good examples. These are categories where contracts evolve over time, pricing structures are complicated, and most companies simply don’t have the bandwidth to continuously optimize them. When you bring benchmarking, data, and expertise to the table, you can often reduce cost while improving service and control. That combination creates real, lasting value for the client.

The older I get the more I enjoy working with other people and seeing THEM succeed. This role enables me to empower our team and franchise partners to grow and do their best work, while simultaneously helping companies optimize their business and maximize their efficiency and scalability. Customer centricity isn’t a saying here, it’s existential!
